Bradford apartments in bargain offer

Affordable housing looks set to become a reality in West Yorkshire
with new apartments from £55,000.
The Beehive in Bradford is a £65 million mixed-use scheme
featuring 517 apartments, as well as retail and commercial
space.
McGinnis Developments, the company behind the project, has hailed
the low prices as the start of a new age of cut-price property
across the country, claiming the price tag is the lowest for a new
home in Yorkshire in seven years.
John Paul McGinnis, the firm's development director, says: "We are
giving the market a much-needed flagship residential scheme at
prices that offer a much-needed affordability."
The first phase of the venture - comprising 185 studios, one and
two bedroom flats - will launch later this week.
The managing director of SmartNewHomes.com recently predicted
apartment prices will eventually bounce back in the north following
oversupply problems, after saying this has already happened in the
south-east.
